BEIKS releases BEIKS Dictionary Reader 6.0 for Windows Mobile

DALLAS (December 20, 2007) -- BEIKS LLC, the world leader in language, reference and entertainment applications for mobile users, announces the next major upgrade of its flagman product, the BEIKS Dictionary Reader, for Windows Mobile.

The BEIKS Dictionary Reader is a reference application focusing on dictionary-like content. It is used as a common platform for the various reference works developed and published by BEIKS and, in some cases, other companies. It is not available as a standalone title.

The new, sixth major release is a complete from-the-ground-up rebuild that not only improves over its predecessor, but, thanks to its support for both Windows Mobile flavors - Smartphone and Pocket PC (also branded as Windows Mobile Standard and Windows Mobile Professional), will also unify and simplify the various application distribution.

Other major features include improved cross-lookup features, support for vocal audio pronunciations, simultaneous lookup in several underlying reference sources and more.

BEIKS customers and owners of previous reference titles are entitled to a free upgrade, which can be obtained by downloading the publicly available application trial from http://www.beiks.com or http://mobile.beiks.com (optimized for direct device downloads) and then obtaining the purchased unlocking code from http://www.beiks.com/mystuff.
